Privacy Policy

This is a translation for convenience. If it differs from the Korean original, the Korean version applies.

Kurve (the "Service") handles personal information with care and complies with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act and related laws. Effective: September 26, 2026

1. Information we process

The Service has no sign-up or login and does not collect information that identifies you. The following may still be processed:

• Information generated automatically while running the Service: IP address, browser details, access time and requested URL (for security and error analysis, processed through Cloudflare infrastructure)
• Information you enter when adding a channel or requesting removal: channel URL, contact email (optional) and your message
• Visit statistics: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referrer, collected by Google Analytics with cookies (see section 4)
• Information stored in your browser: pinned and recently viewed channels (kept only in your browser's localStorage and never sent to our servers)

2. Use of YouTube API Services

The Service uses YouTube API Services to display public information about YouTube channels and videos. The Service does not access your YouTube account. YouTube's data processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).

3. Channel information

Channel names, descriptions, profile images, subscriber and view counts shown on the Service are information YouTube makes public. Statistics are kept for the last 28 days only, and when a channel is deleted or made private, we delete it at the next refresh. Channel owners can request deletion and a block on re-collection through a removal request.

4. Cookies and third parties

The Service uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to measure visits. Google Analytics uses cookies (such as _ga) to collect the pages you visit, your approximate location, device and browser type, and referrer. This information is sent to and processed on Google servers, including in the United States. We do not send information that directly identifies you, such as your name or contact details. It is kept according to the Google Analytics data retention setting (2 months by default).

You can refuse this by blocking cookies in your browser or installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); the Service works the same either way. The Service uses no advertising cookies.

Profile images and video thumbnails load directly from YouTube servers, so YouTube may receive your connection information.

5. Retention

Submission and removal request records are deleted one year after they are handled. Access logs are kept according to our infrastructure provider's policy.
